Terms and conditions
These terms of use govern your purchases from, and your use of, the www.carlheim.com website and form a contract between you and Carlheim danish design group AB, Swedish company registration number 559111-0001, Marsvägen 10, 692 34 Kumla, Sweden (hereinafter “Carlheim”). By making a purchase from, and using, this website you have agreed to these terms of use. Please make sure that you have read and understood these terms of use when using our site.
TRANSPORT
Should the product be damaged during transport, you are required to contact us by email at info@carlheim.com within 14 days of receiving the product.
UNCLAIMED GOODS
If you fail to collect your order, we reserve the right to charge you for all costs incurred in handling your order and shipment back to Carlheim.
PLACING AN ORDER
Orders made in another person's name without the person's consent will be reported to the authorities. Carlheim reserves the right to make price changes and correct incorrect prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is incorrect, Carlheim may be obliged to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid in the most suitable way. Such cancellation can take place at any time.
CANCELLING AN ORDER
You have the right to cancel any order placed with us within 14 days from receipt of the order.

RETURNS
Any complaints must be made to our customer service through our contact form on the contact page. Please supply the order number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you shortly. The same applies for returns. Defective products returned to Carlheim should be treated as a non-defective product. For all types of returns it is extremely important that the product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged during transit.

TAXES
All prices shown on Carlheim's website, www.carlheim.com, are inclusive of VAT. Note that if an order is shipped to a delivery address outside the EU, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are collected when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You will be responsible for payment of any import duties and taxes. Carlheim has no control over these charges and, since these charges are different for different countries, Carlheim cannot predict their amount. Carlheim advises you to contact your local customs office for further information.
WARRANTY
Warranty term: Two years from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects on the watch itself (movement, case, crystal). Parts other than the above are not covered by this warranty. To request a replacement covered under this warranty, please use our contact form on the 'contact us' page. In the e-mail you need to specify your name, address, order number and a detailed description of the claim. Finally, write 'Product claim' in the subject line of the e-mail. Return shipping is paid by Carlheim. If Carlheim is unable to detect any defect as described above, the product will be sent back to the customer.
Note that repair/replacements will be charged in the following cases, even during the warranty term:
- Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)
- Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification
- Failure or damage caused by fire or water, or a natural disaster such as for example an earthquake.
- Aesthetic changes that occur during normal wear and tear and aging (minor scratches, etc. on the case and/or crystal, alteration of the colour on the wristband, peeling of the plating)
- If the store of purchase and the purchase date are not indicated on the warranty, or if this information has been rewritten
- If the warranty is not submitted along with the watch
- Battery replacement will be charged even during the warranty term.
The case, dial, hands, crystal, watchband or other parts thereof may be replaced with substitutes if the originals are not available.
This warranty warrants that, as a customer, you may receive a free replacement in accordance with the terms set out herein and within the specified term, and shall not restrict any lawful right of the customer.
CARLHEIM INTERNATIONAL LIMITED WARRANTY
Carlheim warrants that during the Warranty Period it will, at its sole discretion, remedy defects in materials or workmanship free of charge either by a) repairing, or b) replacing, or c) refunding, subject to the terms and conditions of this International Limited Warranty. This International Limited Warranty is valid and enforceable regardless of the country of purchase. The International Limited Warranty does not affect your legal rights granted under mandatory national law applicable to the sale of consumer goods.
Warranty Period
The International Limited Warranty Period starts on the date of original retail purchase.
The Warranty Period is two (2) years for products unless otherwise specified.
The Warranty Period is one (1) year for accessories.
Exclusions and Limitations
This International Limited Warranty does not cover:
- a) normal wear and tear such as scratches, abrasions, or alteration of the colour and/or material of non-metallic straps, b) defects caused by rough handling, or c) defects or damage resulting from use contrary to intended or recommended use, improper care, negligence, and accidents such as dropping or crushing; printed materials and packaging;
This International Limited Warranty is not enforceable if the product or accessory:
- has been opened beyond its intended use
- has been repaired using unauthorised spare parts
- has been modified or repaired by an unauthorised Carlheim watch maker
- the serial number has been removed, altered or made illegible in any way
Use of Carlheim's International Limited Warranty
You must provide proof of purchase to utilise Carlheim's International Limited Warranty.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable mandatory laws, this International Limited Warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. Carlheim shall not be liable for special, incidental, punitive or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of anticipated benefits, loss of use, cost of capital, cost of any substitute equipment or facilities, claims of third parties, damage to property resulting from the purchase or use of the item or arising from breach of the warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict tort, or any legal or equitable theory, even if Carlheim knew of the likelihood of such damages. Carlheim shall not be liable for delay in rendering warranty service.
Warranty Period
International Limited 2-year Warranty:
The International Limited Warranty period is two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase.
PRODUCT
Carlheim has the right to adjust prices, apply additional costs and change product information such as product pictures and offers without notice. The product images and information texts available reflect the product as much as possible. We reserve the right for any errors that may appear on the page and cannot guarantee that all pictures accurately reflect the true appearance of the product. The pictures may differ depending on the colour settings in your computer. All pictures should be seen as illustrations only and do not guarantee correct appearance and characteristics.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
When shopping with Carlheim we will save some of your data to fulfil your purchase. Carlheim treats all personal information as confidential. You have the right to request access to your data and if something is incorrect you can have it changed or removed. Carlheim may also use cookies, for example in order to improve your experience of the website. LIABILITY
Carlheim's responsibility for errors in connection with delivery is limited to existing conditions of sale. Carlheim bears no direct or indirect responsibility for, but not limited to, incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other economic harm.
FORCE MAJEURE
Carlheim shall be exempt from liability for damages and other penalties if performance of the contract is prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. As the release factor should be considered include government intervention, new / amended legislation, lack of state, war, fire, flood, labor disturbance, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions or lack of delivery from suppliers and the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects activities.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyright, on the website and in the material published on it are owned by Carlheim. Any use of the site or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of Carlheim.
USER CONTENT
The www.carlheim.com website may include user generated content from, for example, social media applications. Carlheim does not claim any ownership to rights of such content (images, photos and videos etc.) and cannot be held legally responsible for it. In case you suspect a violation of copyright, or any other right, or you are otherwise offended by such content, please contact customer service using the contact form on the contact us page.
TERMINATION
Carlheim reserves the right to terminate your account and/or your use of the www.carlheim.com website at its sole discretion. For example, if Carlheim suspects that you have breached these terms of use. Such termination can be made without prior notice.
AMENDMENTS
